Start a New Hobby in the Fall – Join the Guides and Scouts

In Scouting you too can join in learning new things, hiking in the nature and changing the world to a better place. You experience the power of community, support children’s growth and become part of a global network. The autumn season will start soon. There is a place for all of us in the guides and scouts. So come along for a joint scouting adventure. 

Start a new hobby and join the guides and scouts. In Scouting, you build a relationship with nature, gain international experiences and meet new friends both in your own town and also around the whole country. Scouting is a hobby that is open for everyone. You can join regardless of your language, culture, religion or other background. 

Scout groups usually meet once a week. In addition, the group goes on various trips both near and far. As a scout, you participate in the events of your own group and also local organization, i.e. flag unit. In addition, you can also participate in the events and trainings of the district and the national central organization, the Scouts of Finland. There are various events and trainings for all ages. 

Wonderful nature experiences and meaningful volunteer work for adults 

Scouting is an experiential, educational and communal hobby for adults as well. Various events and trainings are organized both in your flag unit and in the district and in the central organization, i.e. the Scouts of Finland. For example, at the end of August 3,300 adults gather at a forest seminar organized by the Finnish Scouts. This year the event was already sold out in April.
